Orgone irradiation, 80 years after its discovery by Dr. Wilhelm Reich, has proven to be a very valid contribution to health care.

The latest construction related to the types of orgone devices in chronological order is the Orgone Bed.

The idea was born from some observations in clinical practice. The first is certainly the discomfort of sitting when doing treatments. The second, also connected to the first, is the need for the patient to lie down when doing energetic treatments. In short, when the person is lying down, he or she is more predisposed to the absorption of orgone energy and to a state of relaxation necessary for energy dynamics to be established.

In the known literature there are no notes on the subject and tradition has it that the orgone accumulator par excellence is the cabin, originally designed by Wilhelm Reich, inside which the patient is in a sitting position. The only mention of an orgone accumulator in which the person could lie down is that of a self-construction by an acquaintance of Reich who was suffering from cancer and who healed himself using an orgone accumulator built from a sheet metal can placed horizontally and around which the accumulating layers were added.

The orgone bed that was created has 5 double accumulating layers positioned on all the walls and inside the base on which the patient rests. The upper cover is vaulted so as to envelop the patient, but leaving plenty of space between the wall of the bed and the patient's body. The vault guarantees, as a shape, also some peculiar qualities linked to the energetic dynamics described within TCM.

An opening on the face allows for correct breathing and avoids the sensation of being closed in.

Like the orgone cabin, I personally recommend it, in addition to being a tool for clinics and therapy centers, to be used especially in those cases of strong organismic weakness.

The duration of the treatments can vary from 30 minutes up to a couple of hours and more.
